Victoria Herczek about

Victoria born in 1995 in Katowice (Poland) is a young choreographer, dancer and performer and video editor.

Between 2009-2013 a student of Private Artistic Ballet School Terpsychora in Katowice. For next two years a dancer in Maciej Cierzniak's Contemporary Dance Group where she danced in project „622 Falls”. From 2014 a student of Stanislaw Wyspianski Academy of Theatre Arts (former Ludwik Solski State Drama School) The Dance Theater Department in Bytom.

She creates her own projects, choreographies and performances where her artistic experiments and convictions are presented. She is most interested in a process of creation as a never-ending research and field for asking questions. Her hallmark is love for camp aesthetic and abstraction of created worlds which she achieves by using a wide range of forms of expression. What occurs in between artists who collaborate together interests her most. She doesn't like easy solutions and like breaking conventions.
